MEN'S HEALTH MATTERS TOO!

Statistically, men tend to go to the doctor' less often than women.

There are several key reasons for this:

1. Social & Cultural Norms: Many men are raised with the idea that they should be "tough" or "stoic," and showing concern for their health may feel like a weakness.

At Eden, we know you're tough, but your health matters too! We want you to feel and be the best version of you so you can show up for others.

2. Less Engagement with Healthcare Early On: Women often have more touchpoints with the healthcare system due to reproductive health needs, so they tend to build relationships with providers earlier and more consistently.

At Eden, we want to build that relationship with you, no judgment, just quality care you deserve!

3. Fear or Denial: Some men avoid doctors because they’re afraid of hearing bad news or being diagnosed with something serious.

At Eden, we believe in optimal health NOW, so you don't have to worry about those scary diagnoses. But things happen, and we will be here to walk through it with you.

4. Lack of Symptoms = No Action: Men are more likely to wait until a problem is severe before seeking help, especially if they're not feeling any pain or discomfort.

5. Time & Convenience: Busy schedules, work demands, or long wait times can be deterrents, especially if they don’t feel an immediate need.

At Eden, we have later business hours (closing at 6pm) and we have Saturday appointments via telehealth. We got you!

6. Perception of Invincibility: Younger men, in particular, often believe they're not at risk for serious health issues, so preventive care seems unnecessary.

Unfortunately, everyone is at risk. Our food is no longer nutrient dense, our environments are stressful, and most people have economic burdens. There is always something to work on. Mental health, sleep, stress, libido, concentration, immune system support...etc.

In our opinion, men are overlooked in the healthcare realm. Yet they are the backbone of our families and communities. At Eden, we are here to support them.
